This study analyzes the neural mechanisms involved in mathematical learning and the application of this technique as an innovative educational strategy. The objective of the research was to describe the use of neurotechnology in mathematics classes for tenth grade students of the Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional “Juan Montalvo”, during the period 2023-2024. The research used a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative), combining statistical data collection and interpretative analysis. Theoretical methods such as analytical, historical-logical and inductive-deductive were applied, together with field research to collect direct data from participants. Eighty students and three teachers were surveyed, and an expert-validated questionnaire was used to assess knowledge, perception and use of the technology in question. The results showed that 100% of the participants were unaware of the concept of neurotechnology, revealing the need for training in this area. Although there was an initial lack of knowledge, educational technologies increased motivation and interest in mathematics. Tools such as GeoGebra and mathematical calculators were the most used, but the lack of teacher training in neurotechnology continues to be a barrier to their effective implementation. The research concludes that the integration of neurotechnology could significantly improve learning and promote the development of logical thinking
2025-06-25T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Suplemento CICA Multidisciplinario https://uleam.suplementocica.org/index.php/SuplementoCICA/article/view/201 Alfabetización digital en el seguro campesino: transformando vidas caso de estudio parroquia Honorato Vásquez – Manabí 2025-06-24T13:36:35-05:00 Eleana Mariela Castro Castro mary_castro01@hotmail.es Ana Teresa Rivera Solórzano ana.rivera@uleam.edu.ec
The lack of digital literacy among members of the farmers' insurance program in the parish of Honorato Vásquez in Manabí limits their access to educational, employment, and social participation opportunities. This deficiency becomes a challenge as it hinders the integration of rural residents into an increasingly technological and globalized world, preventing them from fully taking advantage of information and communication technologies (ICT). Therefore, the objective was to implement a digital literacy workshop to bridge the digital divide of the target population and observe the effectiveness of the Digital Literacy Program (PIAD) in this community. This program generated significant improvements in the technological skills and digital confidence of the participants. The implementation of PIAD is supported by a comprehensive methodological approach that combined qualitative and quantitative methods, such as surveys and interviews, to observe both the quantitative changes in digital skills and the personal and community impacts of the intervention. Ultimately, this study provided valuable information for designing future interventions and policies aimed at improving technological literacy in similar rural contexts, thereby promoting digital inclusion and socioeconomic development in underserved communities
Luis Alberto Martínez's work A la Costa is a fundamental reference in Ecuadorian literature, and its analysis from a metacognitive perspective allows us to understand the social, political and economic issues reflected in it. This study aimed to analyze the work A la Costa by Luis Alberto Martínez through a metacognitive perspective, to understand the social, political and economic issues reflected in the novel, and to evaluate the impact of metacognition on the reading comprehension of high school students. The research employed a mixed approach with descriptive-correlational scope and cross-sectional non-experimental design, using descriptive statistics for data analysis. Analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, and historical-logical methods were implemented through standardized tests, surveys, and interviews with high school students. The results show that students have a basic knowledge of metacognitive concepts, although some lack understanding of their theoretical foundations. It was observed that they understand the social and political themes of the novel but require a clearer metacognitive approach to interpret them in their entirety. Metacognition is crucial for the understanding of complex literary texts such as A la Costa, although gaps persist in theoretical knowledge and the implementation of metacognitive strategies. It is essential to integrate these approaches into the educational process to improve critical understanding of texts. In conclusion, metacognitive analysis allows students to develop a critical reflection on the social, political, and economic themes present in the novel.
2025-06-25T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Suplemento CICA Multidisciplinario https://uleam.suplementocica.org/index.php/SuplementoCICA/article/view/210 Didactic strategy adapted for students with autism spectrum disorder: case, technical high school of the Aurora Estrada de Ramírez High School. 2025-06-24T16:06:55-05:00 Qmo.
