Abstract

This scientific article is the product of the first stage of a research project whose purpose was to carry out a heuristic review of the scientific bibliography that deals with the topic of fraud detection in the world of scientific research applying Benford's Law, to through its law of anomalous numbers and its logarithmic distribution. Part of the bibliographic documentary population available as a sample was reviewed, without attempting to exhaust said review, reaching a response to the goal set as a conclusion, that Benford's Law can be applied in the detection of fraud, call it involuntary errors as volunteers looking for a desired result.Keywords: research, fraud, validate, reliability
