Abstract
The family together with the school are the main entities of support in the academic process of the students, however, not all parents are involved in said process, on the basis of this the investigation was developed that had as objective: To determine the Influence of the family in the educational development of the students of the Middle Basic Sublevel in the Educational Unit June 5 of the El Carmen Canton. For this, a research paradigm framed in positivism was used, with a quantitative approach which allowed the use of a set of techniques, including a survey applied to teachers, once processed, they resulted in: that the family does influence the social and academic growth of the students, which was corroborated with the validation of the hypothesis, which showed a correlation of one (1), that is, the greater the influence of the family, the greater the educational development, both in performance and in the behavior, in conclusion the intellectual construction is given from the experiences they experience at home. To which is added the different strategies applied by teachers, including Project-Based Learning, it is also recommended to use the tools proposed in the guides prepared by the Ministry of Education, which have a participatory methodology in pursuit of performance improvement. academic, communication and aptitudes attitudes around the work of the actors immersed in education
