Abstract

The objective of this research is to carry out a documentary review about the financing decisions of Ecuadorian SMEs, for this purpose the methodology used has a qualitative approach and the investigative process is descriptive - explanatory. As a result of the research, it can be indicated that SMEs are fundamental in the functioning of the Ecuadorian economy, Ecuador is one of the Latin American countries with the highest rate of entrepreneurial activity and the SMEs sector is the main source of job creation. However, financing decisions are the greatest difficulties they face, in this area they limit their creation and growth.
