Abstract
The general objective of this work was to identify the organic solid waste produced in the Teobroma extractor to determine its possible use in composting processes, for which it started with a determination of the organic waste generated in the red oil extraction plant. The rachis, fiber and tricanter mud were identified, as waste, the amount of generation in tons per week was determined; time that was considered to form the compost piles, resulting in 662,927 t .; the carbon / nitrogen ratio was established between the rachis, fiber and tricanter mud at 36,4 y 36,2 R: C / N. It was determined that the extractor generates a significant amount of waste
and that these can be used alone or accompanied by other compounds in the compost production
