Abstract

Virtual Learning Objects have currently been transformed into tools, technological resources or pedagogical alternatives that facilitate the teaching work and stimulate the development of countless skills in students. This research contributed very significantly with updated and relevant information both for the educational institution under study and for teachers, students and indirectly parents. The objective of this article was to design a didactic strategy for the use of Virtual Objects in the learning of literacy in second-year students of Basic General Education of the Jean Carlos Gutiérrez Rivas educational unit, school period 2022. The focus of the same is combined from qualitative and quantitative perspectives, that is, mixed; the type of research was descriptive in which the main characteristics of the phenomenon under study were highlighted without proceeding to experimentation. Inductive-deductive methods were also used, which facilitated the analysis and understanding of the results from the particular to the general and vice versa; the bibliographic method facilitated the theoretical documentation of the variables under study; the analytical and synthetic methods allowed the decoding of information and the presentation of the respective conclusions. We proceeded to search for results through the application of pre-test and post-test evaluations in order to have a prior and subsequent appreciation of the level of literacy development with and without the application of virtual objects. These, allowed to establish the corresponding conclusions, which, in the first place, managed to demonstrate the low development in the literacy of the children and later the changes presented through the use of the Virtual Learning Objects, which contributes to determine that the need for tools technological didactics that facilitate optimal processes in the oral and written language of students
