Abstract

In the learning process, the use of the word is not enough. It is necessary to recognize and seek new educational alternatives that adapt to the changes that occur in society. Given this situation, innovation is needed in the use of teaching materials. The objective of the research was to analyze the use of didactic material in the teaching-learning process of the Sixth Year of Basic General Education of the "Antonio Delgado Vera" Educational Unit of the city of Pedernales Manabí in the 2021-2022 school year. The investigative process It was based on a quantitative approach, a survey was applied to students to establish the relationship established in the institution between the use of didactic materials and the development of the teaching-learning process, it was determined that the use of didactic materials is limited, but it is considered that they motivate to attend and allow a better understanding of the classes, they learn more and the creativity of the students is stimulated, in addition to promoting the protagonism of the students and turning the moment of the class into an entertaining scenario. that are used are in accordance with the knowledge of the students The classroom is a scenario lacking teaching materials the existing ones are cataloged as old, which means that the professor's academic discourse is the predominant didactic procedure
