Abstract

Business growth currently not only occurs as a result of good administration; it also depends on the economic resources that are invested in companies for the execution of their projects. A company that is firmly leveraged is a company that grows. Therefore, this research shows the main objective of analyzing the sources of financing used by companies in the El Carmen canton and how they influence their development. This study has a qualitative approach because it aims to demonstrate the patterns in the choice of resources used, whether internal or external, and the growth opportunities they process; It is also descriptive in nature because it details the financial entities, as well as the interest rates that may be for each type of company; This information is collected from previous investigations carried out in a personalized way to entities in the canton. Finally, the study of spending is the most significant contribution of this research since it gives administrators a practical perspective on the problem in the study and the guidelines for choosing the best business growth option.
