Abstract

An academic goal is an integrated motivational model or style of beliefs, attributions and emotions that direct the intentions of the behavior, of what the subjects do or want to do in the educational context. The research objective consisted in analyzing the questionnaire of academic goals and the learning factors in relation to the gender variable of the upper elementary and high school students (11 to 18 years old) of the "El Carmen" Educational Unit, school year 2019- 2020, provincia y cantón El Carmen, Manabí – Ecuador. This investigative activity has been carried out on multiple occasions, with different variables, environments - contexts and by various authors, but when developed within the educational environment of the sector, it was of particular interest, it served to understand the reality or appreciation of the students of these ages relative to their learning goals, achievement goals, and social reinforcement goals
